GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Our Schools

What does Warren Mead Nursery offer?

Warren Mead Nursery is a term time only Nursery for children aged 3 and 4. Children can start Nursery from the term after they turn three years old. The Nursery is situated within the Infant school grounds. Children have access to an attractive indoor and outdoor learning environment, which they can access independently through free flow play.

What do we want for our Nursery children at Warren Mead?

Our focus at Warren Mead is to get the children ‘school ready’ so they are fully prepared for the transition to starting school in Reception, whether that be at Warren Mead or another primary school. Nursery children are expected to wear the Warren Mead uniform and they follow a very similar structure of the school day that reception follow. Nursery eat lunch in the school hall with Reception and have timetabled teaching sessions each day.
