GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Behaviour

At Warren Mead, our children are eager to learn, do their best and are generally well behaved. They show kindness and respect for all.

To promote positive behaviour with verbal praise and visual and physical incentives for children – with strategies to suit the needs of all the learners.

We always look to celebrate positive behaviour in all areas of school life, with whole school assemblies (virtually) or key stage assemblies. As a school we also use house points, hot chocolate Friday, table points, stickers and other teacher-specific rewards to ensure positivity and the correct behaviour is exhibited by the pupils.

We have behaviour and consequences which are consistently used across both schools, with a behaviour tracking grid, which can highlight children who are struggling with behaviour, in order to give them tailored support.

We recognise that some children with special educational needs may require individual behaviour management plans, and these are put in place alongside consultation with the school’s SENCo.

Please find our behaviour policy in the policies section of the website.
