Poetry Visit - Josh Seigal Comes to Warren Mead

We were delighted to welcome the award-winning poet Josh Seigal to Warren Mead for a special day of poetry and creativity. Each year group had the opportunity to spend time with Josh, exploring different poetry techniques through fun and engaging workshops. The children were inspired by his energy, humour, and passion for words, and together we created a wonderful Warren Mead poem that will be proudly displayed in our school library. It was fantastic to see so many children excited about poetry, and thank you to everyone who purchased a copy of Josh’s book at the end of the day — we hope you enjoy reading it as much as we’ve enjoyed working with him. A huge thank you as well to the PFA for organising such a lovely event. It was a truly memorable day that brought the magic of poetry to life for our whole school community
