Vision, Values and Aims
Our Values at Warren Mead Infant and Junior School

At Warren Mead School, our values are at the heart of everything we do. They underpin our teaching, guide our behaviour, and shape the culture of our school community. We are proud to promote five core values: Courage, Honesty, Excellence, Community and Kindness. These values help our children grow into confident, respectful and responsible individuals.
Courage
We encourage our pupils to be brave in their learning and in their lives. Courage means trying new things, taking risks, and not being afraid to make mistakes. We support children to speak up, challenge themselves and persevere when things feel difficult.
Honesty
Honesty is fundamental to building trust and strong relationships. We teach children to be truthful, take responsibility for their actions, and reflect on their choices. By being honest, our pupils develop integrity and respect for themselves and others.
Excellence
We have high expectations for all members of our school community. Excellence means striving to do our very best in everything we do—whether that is in the classroom, on the playground or through extracurricular activities. We celebrate effort, progress and achievement.
Community
We are proud of our inclusive and supportive school community. We work in partnership with families and value the contributions of everyone. Our pupils learn to work together, support one another, and understand their role within the wider world.
Kindness
Kindness is at the core of how we treat each other at Warren Mead. We promote empathy, compassion and respect. Our children are encouraged to be thoughtful, caring and considerate, helping to create a safe and positive environment where everyone feels valued.
